Description
A dry red wine, a blend of two exceptional grape varieties. The native soil Cabernet Sauvignon makes up 56%, complemented by the Georgian Saperavi variety with 44%. The wine has an intense ruby-red color. Aromas of black cherries, black currant, blackberries, truffles, and pepper. The taste is fruity, spicy, with sweet spices and dark chocolate. The grapes were harvested from the vineyards in the village of Mircești, in central Moldova. The must was fermented for 30 days in open vats. The blend was aged for 24 months in new oak barrels. It pairs well with lamb, game dishes, beef steak, spicy cured meats, and cheeses. It is recommended to decant the wine before serving.
